Looking at how the 2016 Browns' draft picks fared

On Jul 5, 2014, I made a pizza dough that used some spent grains from our Dark-eyed Junco Imperial Stout that we brewed on the Mar 30, 2014 brew day at Jerry P's. It was probably the ugliest pizza crust ever made, but the taste and texture turned out surprisingly well. This might have been the best pizza that I've created.
Two-gallon batch. All-grain. The recipe came from the Brooklyn Brew Shop book titled Beer Making Book. But instead of using pumpkin, we used butternut squash that we purchased at the Toledo farmers market.
We use honey in many foods, such as in a cup of tea, a bowl of oatmeal, in yogurt, on toast, and to sweeten a tomato sauce. Honey is also our primary bottling sugar for brewing beer. We buy most of our honey from the Phoenix Earth Food Co-op, which sells at least two options, produced by local farmers who locate their beehives within and around Toledo.
Some pics from an August 2006 boat ride, which was a $5 pontoon boat ride up and down Swan Creek in the Warehouse District and then out into the Maumee River from the MLK bridge to the Anthony Wayne bridge and then back to the Erie Street Market.
It was not a brutal winter. We experienced a brutal February.
Based upon the Wed evening, Oct 29, 2014 forecast by the National Weather Service, Toledo may receive its first snowflakes and its first measurable snowfall of the season on Sat morning, Nov 1.
Oct 31, 2014 morning update: We may receive up to a half-inch of wet snow on grassy areas by sunrise Nov 1.
Nov 1, 2014 update: Trace of snow recorded at airport. I saw no snow falling on Fri evening, Oct 31 within Toledo. Light snow fell over areas surrounding Toledo.
9:15 a.m., Mon, Dec 8, 2014 - We seem to be locked in a stable weather pattern. This week, our weather will be mostly dry with a fair amount of sunshine expected. Our temps are forecast to be slightly above normal by the weekend.
RIVP is located on (Rt. 65) Dixie Highway just past Lime City Rd. on the right hand side of the highway at the top of the hill near the edge of Rossford city limits on the way to Perrysburg. It's easy to overlook the entrance. A small, low-profile sign and a gravel parking lot are the clues.

Flooding rains, tornadoes, bitter cold, record warmth, gale force winds, and snowstorms can all occur in November in the Great Lakes region, sometimes within days of each other.

At least 100 people attended the sports arena feasibility study meeting at Waite High School Tuesday evening. The east-siders brought plenty of attitude. I think they were more interested in tearing someone a new a-hole than watching the slide show that explained the study's findings. They couldn't wait to speak. I can't blame them for being spunky. They feel like they are being screwed again, and I think they're right. Even though I'd like to see the arena on the downtown side of the river, I'm also in the just-build-it-somewhere camp.
